Call for submissions for consideration in The NBDB List of Highly Recommended Supplementary Material

In its effort to promote the use of quality books and materials, the NBDB, in partnership with the Department of Education, will come up with a list of highly recommended supplementary books and materials. Teaming up with the Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators (NOTED), the members of which are recipients of the Metrobank Foundation’s Outstanding Teacher Award, the NBDB invites publishers to submit to the NBDB books they would like to be considered in this list.

Though we have set a cap to evaluate only three hundred (300) books and materials at this time, the NBDB intends to make this initiative a continuing effort of the NBDB to upgrade the reading materials of our nation’s children.

The NBDB deadline for submission is on 13 July 2012.  However, the NBDB will stop receiving submissions even before 13 July 2012 when it has reached the 300 cap. The Guidelines on the Qualification of Supplementary Books and Materials for The NBDB’s Highly Recommended Supplementary Materials List and nomination forms may be downloaded here
